Terms & Conditions

Welcome to electricalskills.ie website. Please read our terms and conditions carefully before booking a training course on this site.  Use of this site constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions that take effect when you first use this site. By booking onto a course  you are also accepting that you agree with these Terms and Conditions.

1. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your agreement to such Terms and Conditions.

2. Availability of Training Courses

Any training course booked through this website is subject to availability.  We reserve the right to decline any individual or company, or to refuse any booking onto one of our training courses.

3. Fees & Payments

  • Payment can be made by either Credit Card, Electronic Fund Transfer, Bank Draft, Postal Order, Cheque or by phone. For company bookings, we recommend calling us.
  • Fees for all courses are due in full prior to a course beginning. With the exception of an agreed payment plan being in place with Electrical Skills.
  • When registering on a course with Electrical Skills, the learner remains liable for fees at that point.
  • In the event that a learner has to repeat an exam, Electrical Skills will cover the cost providing that a reasonable attempt has been made to successfully pass the exam (this is applicable to the Electrical Testing & Verfication Course only).
  • Full fees remain due, if a learner begins a course and withdraw afterwards or defer from the course at any stage of the course. Where a payment plan in place with Electrical Skills, this plan must be adhered to and fees remain due in accordance with the agreed payment plan.
  • All courses will begin subject to demand.
  • Electrical Skills reserves the right to change any of the details in marketing/promotional material.

4. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy

A full refund will be given for a cancelled booking, providing at least two working days notice is given (You may be charged a booking cancellation fee).  No refund will be made to learners who fail to attend the training or who do not complete the course. 

5. Course Transfers/Change of Date

Companies and individuals may substitute learners prior to the start of the course without additional payment. Course transfers or a change of date requires notification by phone or e-mail at least 2 days prior to the courses commencement date.

6. Online Training Courses

Learners will be granted access to the course material for the duration of the course specifications or the exam is taken (if applicable). Once a learner has logged on to a course,  no refunds can be made.

The learner will be issued with a user name and password to facilitate log in to the course material. The user name and password, are personal to the learner and cannot be transferred to any other person without the prior written consent of Electrical Skills. Should a user name and password be given to any other person and in the event that the course material is accessed by a third party, Electrical Skills may terminate your subscription without the obligation to refund any fees.

7. Disclaimer & Liability

While we endeavor to ensure that the information on the Electrical Skills Site is correct, we do not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the material on the Electrical Skills Site. We may make changes to the content on the Electrical Skills Site or to the products and prices described in it at any time. The material on the Electrical Skills Site is provided without any conditions, warranties or other terms of any kind.

We do not warrant that the website or any of its materials are virus free. You must take your own safety measures in this respect. We do not accept responsibility for any infection by virus or other contamination or by anything, which has damaging properties. Although we do our best to provide continuous access to the Site, we do not guarantee this. We do not accept responsibility or liability for any disruption or delay.

To the full extent allowed by law, you agree that Electrical Skills will not be liable to you for any consequential or incidental damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, wasted expenditure,  loss of anticipated savings, loss of privacy and loss of data) or any other indirect, special or punitive damages whatsoever that arise out of or relating to the Site.

Nothing in this legal notice shall exclude or limit our liability for fraud or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Use of Material on the Website

Copyright to the Electrical Skills Site and its materials, is owned by or licensed to Electrical Skills. All rights are reserved. You may not copy, display, distribute, perform, enter into a database, create derivative works of, transmit or otherwise use any materials from the Electrical Skills Site. You may download the websites content only for personal, non-commercial use, and only if you do not modify the text or remove any trademark, copyright or other notice displayed on the websites content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
